No Kill


Frequency changes things.
It creates normalcy when it speeds into ‘often’.
Normalcy—I recall what it wasn’t,
once upon a time.

It didn’t use to be—
I remember when there wasn’t gunfire once— somewhere
In my mind, I remember, I think.
But it has lost it’s taste.

Now we stay singing: 
When a kill shot doesn’t kill;
God’s grace
God’s grace
God’s grace
